Jesse Clark Benton, 48, and Bobbie Sue Demrow Benton, 50, of
Stanford, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2006 in Lexington, Kentucky. Clark
graduated from Lincoln Co. High School in 1976, was a graduate of University of
New Mexico, Albuquerque in 1986, attended Naval Post Graduate School in
Monterey, California in 1997, and was a member of the Fort Logan Church of
Christ. He was a retired Major in the United Stated marine Corp. where he earned
the following decorations; Navy Commendation Medal (2nd Award), Navy Achievement
Medal, Meritorious Mast, Good Conduct Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (4th
Award), Meritorious Unit Commendation (2nd Award), National Defense Service
medal and Overseas Service Ribbon. He was currently employed by General Dynamics
Network Systems in Arlington, Virginia.
Bobbie Sue Demrow Benton graduated from Lincoln Co. High School in 1974. She was
employed by Tinder Kraus Tinder of Danville, was a Fort Logan Hospital Auxiliary
member, a member of the Fort Logan Church of Christ.
